V-6 Rapture (outdated)

This is one of many weapons for "Nihil", a video game I'll be working on. It doesn't actually appear that much in-game, but adds to the backstory.

The V-6 Rapture is a rifle designed for the Tellurian military stationed on Lemuria, and was the first successful weapon to utilize both the caseless internal revolving magazine, and the T/G Propellant Unit.

The Valiant Ops. Model-6 Rifle, nicknamed the "Rapture", entered development 5 years after the establishment of the Tellurian military, and was put into service the following year.
Though initially disliked due to its complexity in comparison to more conventional weapons, the large clip size, exceptional stopping power, and good handling ultimately led it to becoming standardized throughout Lemuria. It has since been replaced by the lighter and more versatile M-11 Carbine, though remains in use as a fierce competitor.

As with most other Tellurian weapons, the V-6 uses an internal rotating magazine that carries a large quantity of small but very dense projectiles (a healthy 80 rounds). Mags are replaced via a simple hatch on the left side of the weapon. The V-6 also made popular the use of a T/G propellant unit, which uses a self-replenishing gas chamber. The volatile gas ignites, only to be replaced a moment later.
